  National Goals



KPC and its subsidiaries seek to develop their human capital based on its conviction that the human element is the foundation for growth, expansion, and continuous improvement on performance. To realize this goal, the Human Resources Sector developed strategic directions within its 2030 strategy that ensure the oil sector has the right people with the right skills in the right roles; to develop existing and future talent and leaders; and to enable our people to attain their maximum potential and to facilitate a culture that fosters our values.


OSSC has worked to achieve these strategic directions by engaging our staff in specialized training programs in all fields to develop their skills. Statistics for FY 2010/2011 show that OSSC trained 1771 Kuwaiti employees and 15 non-Kuwaiti employees.


The Company was also keen to attract qualified nationals via internal and external vacancy announcements (in coordination with KPC) and OSSC continued to maintain its number one position in the field of Kuwaitization, as the percentage of national labor was 99.1% of total OSSC manpower in FY 2010/2011.
