  Strategy

  Corporate Planning:

Corporate Planning Department endeavors to draw the roadmap for the company's future by drawing and monitoring the implementation of its long- term strategy (OSSC Strategy 2030), developing the roadmap in light of   new developments within the oil sector, identifying the requirements upon which the company's objectives are based in the coming years. The Department has undertaken the following activities toward realizing the strategic directions of the company:

1.         Drawing, monitoring and updating the company Five Year Plan. 

 

2.         Drawing, monitoring and updating the capital budget for    the projects presented by other departments.

 

3.         Drawing and updating the Balanced Scorecard, BSC.

 

4.         Preparing and coordinating the company's contribution in the consolidated Balanced Scorecard of KPC and its subsidiaries (OSSC KPMs as part of the KPC BSC.) 

 

5.        Preparing and coordinating the Top Management Annual Incentive Program (SMAIP) & Managers Annual Incentive Program (MAIP)

 

6.         Participating in the membership of the Internal Tenders Committee of the Oil Sector Services Company and the Internal Tenders Committee of Kuwait Oil Tankers Company. 

 

7.         Contributing to "Tawasol" quarterly magazine by editing articles related to sound planning and management issues in "Tawazon" newsletter attached with Tawasol magazine. 

 

8.         Holding town-hall-style meetings, based on the principle of KPC for unifying corporate identity, and achieving its objectives in a thorough manner through (Think-K)  

 

9.         Organizing "Think-K" meetings that are also attended by  other K-companies, and international marketing and administration sectors. 

 

10. Coordinating with the international consultant, Ernst & Young, to prepare an integrated study on (Alignment among OSSC management). 

11. Participating in the Oracle Committee and working with the information technology (IT) Section and the Public Relations Department in launching an in-house media campaign designed introduce the company's employees to new Oracle system.

12. Preparing and coordinating meetings between the planning departments in the KPC subsidiaries and Oil Sector Services Company to improve and promote the company's brand image vis-à-vis affiliate oil companies, by presenting their most significant achievements.  

13. Participating in the work of the Steering Committee for MSEOC Project, whose members represent the company's departments and the Security Decisions Follow-up Committee.
